Who performs a hair transplant in Türkiye?
It depends on the clinic. A hair transplant has several stages: assessment, planning the hairline, taking the grafts, making the openings and placing the grafts. In some clinics a doctor does most of this; in others, trained team members carry out some stages under a doctor's supervision. Ask the clinic, in writing, who will do each stage for you.

Why it matters
The experience of the people doing each stage affects how your donor area is treated and how the result looks. Two quotes with the same number of grafts can involve very different teams. Knowing who does what lets you compare clinics fairly.
Questions to ask the clinic
- Who will assess me and plan my hairline?
- Who will take the grafts, make the openings and place the grafts?
- What are their qualifications and experience with this procedure?
- Will the doctor be present throughout the procedure?
- How many procedures does the team carry out on the same day?
- Who do I contact with clinical questions after I return home?
Ask for the answers in writing, and be cautious if a clinic will not tell you. See how to check a surgeon's credentials.
