Other medical treatment in Türkiye, arranged on request
Beyond our four main areas, Turwel can help UK patients explore other specialities in Türkiye on request: cardiology, neurology, general surgery, orthopaedics, IVF and fertility, eye surgery and health check-ups. Tell us what you need and we will check whether a suitable partner provider is available. The treating specialists make every clinical decision.

What does "on request" mean?
These are not packaged services. We look at each enquiry individually, ask the provider whether they can help, and only then suggest next steps. If we cannot find a suitable option, we will tell you. As with all our work, Turwel coordinates; the specialists assess, advise and treat.
| Speciality | What to ask the specialist first |
|---|---|
| Cardiology | What investigations are needed, which can be reviewed remotely, and what follow-up would be needed at home |
| Neurology | Which records and imaging they need to see, and whether an in-person assessment is required |
| General surgery | Why surgery is recommended, the alternatives, recovery time and when you could fly home |
| Orthopaedics | The proposed procedure, rehabilitation plan and how physiotherapy would continue in the UK |
| IVF and fertility | Which tests they need, what monitoring is involved and how long you might need to stay |
| Eye surgery | Which examinations confirm suitability, the risks and alternatives, and when it is safe to fly |
| Health check-ups | Which tests are relevant to you and why, who explains the results, and what happens if a result needs follow-up |
Can Turwel help with IVF in Türkiye?
Yes, on request. Where a fertility provider offers remote consultations, we can help arrange a first online conversation so you can discuss your circumstances before making travel plans. The fertility specialist is responsible for assessment, recommendations, consent and treatment; we help with communication and the practical journey.
Fertility treatment can involve several clinical stages, and timing, medication, monitoring and travel vary from person to person. For a first enquiry, share only what is needed to start the conversation; detailed medical information should go through the provider's own channels when they ask for it.
What should I know about eye surgery or a health check-up in Türkiye?
For eye surgery, some information can be reviewed remotely, but a provider may need in-person examinations and measurements before confirming whether any procedure is suitable. For check-ups, more tests are not automatically better: the useful ones are those relevant to your age, history and circumstances, explained by a clinician.
- Eye surgery: ask which procedure is recommended and why, the risks and alternatives, what recovery involves and when it is appropriate to fly home.
- Health check-ups: ask which tests are relevant to you, who will review and explain your results, and whether you will receive copies of your reports.
Other treatments: common questions
Can Turwel help with a treatment that is not listed?
Possibly. Tell us what you are looking for and we will check whether a suitable partner provider is available. If we cannot help, we will say so.
Can I speak with a specialist before travelling?
Where the provider offers remote consultations, Turwel can help arrange an online conversation so you can discuss your circumstances before making travel plans.
Can some tests be done in the UK first?
That depends on the provider and your treatment plan. Ask the treating team which investigations they can review remotely and which need to be done with them.
Does Turwel recommend a specific treatment?
No. Turwel helps with provider communication and journey coordination. Treatment recommendations must come from qualified healthcare professionals after assessment.
