What should a dental guarantee cover?
A guarantee is only as useful as its terms. Before you book, get it in writing and check what it covers, for how long, the conditions you must meet, and who pays for travel and accommodation if a repair is needed. Also ask what happens if you cannot travel back and need help from a dentist in the UK.

What to check
- What is covered: implants, crowns, veneers, bridges, or only some of these
- What is not covered: for example, damage from accidents, grinding or not following aftercare
- How long it lasts, and whether different parts have different periods
- Conditions: regular check-ups, hygiene visits or a night guard you must use
- Travel costs: who pays for flights, hotel and transfers if you need to return
- Treatment in the UK: whether the clinic contributes if a UK dentist has to fix a problem
- How to claim: who you contact, what records you need and how quickly they respond
Keep your records
Ask for your treatment plan, X-rays or scans, the materials and implant system used, and the guarantee terms, and keep them safe. A dentist in the UK will need them if you ever need care at home.
How Turwel helps
We help you get the guarantee terms in writing before you travel, compare them between clinics and, if you have a problem after returning, keep communication with the clinic moving. See what a quote should include and if something goes wrong.
